DPM Asia Pacific

Christchurch, New Zealand, is the site of our Asia Pacific office that has been in operation since 1984 under Warren Smith's leadership. The New Zealand staff, along with outreach offices in Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Solomon Islands, Samoa, Fiji and Vanuatu, oversees the distribution of Derek's materials and other outreach in the South Pacific, Southeast Asia and Indian subcontinent ( www.dpm.co.in ). Translation and printing is in progress in a number of Indian languages, as well as languages of neighbouring countries in the Indian subcontinent. These include Bengali, Burmese, Dari, Gujarati, Hindi, Koren, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Pushto, Sindhi, Sinhala, Sumi Naga, Tagalog, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Derek's English radio programme, which began in New Zealand in 1982, is aired widely there and in some of the South Pacific islands. Broadcasts are also aired in the Samoan language.

DPM's office team in India, in addition to translation and printing projects, provides material to many bookshops, several other DPM offices, pastors, evangelists and Bible college graduates, and also sponsors pastors as church planters/evangelists.They also have begun ministry to several orphanages.
