In 1979 Derek Prince launched his daily radio Bible teaching programme Today with Derek Prince on a handful of stations in the USA. His sole purpose was to teach the Word of God in a way that anyone could understand and apply to their walk with Jesus Christ.
The radio ministry grew quickly, expanding to stations across the USA and elsewhere. Derek’s radio programmes were translated into 13 languages including Chinese, Russian, Spanish and Arabic for broadcast around the world. And while the programme formats have been edited and refreshed, the essence has always stayed the same: Derek Prince teaching the truths of God’s Word.
Since that launch in 1979 millions of lives have been touched by Derek’s clear and compelling Bible teaching and over the last three decades thousands testimonies of salvation, healings and renewed faith have poured into DPM offices around the world.
 Your radio programmes are very good, and I tune in very often. Thank God for spreading His love and truth across China through Ye Guang-Ming’s Bible teaching. (Derek Prince is known in China as Ye Guang-Ming which means Clear Light.)
For years our town was a place without any Light and people were involved in cult worship. But things are changing. I know that many Christians from our church and even non-believers are listening to your radio programmes.
They are devoting their lives to God and their lives are changing as a result.
God is doing something great in our small township and your radio ministry is dispelling myths about cults and encouraging us to focus our eyes and hope on Christ our Saviour. One day I want to be a pastor and preach God’s word like Ye Guang-Ming.
