Dear Friend,
I wish you could meet some of the Chinese believers I have been privileged to know and hear their stories. I know that, like me, you would be deeply touched by their struggles and will not want to ignore their cries for help.
In a perfect world, these brothers and sisters in Christ would be turning to their well-trained pastors for help. They would be purchasing Bible teaching on the Internet or at a Christian bookshop. Unfortunately, this is not the case for millions of believers living in rural China.
You see, there is one China that tourists see, that the businessman works in, or that the TV cameras show. This is the urban China of affluent metropolitan centres with tall buildings, expensive cars and wealthy people living consumer lifestyles.
Then, there is another China. It is the rural China where 468 million people live—with under $2 a day, struggling to make ends meet. The church is growing rapidly in these rural areas. But the problem is that the majority of pastors serving in rural China have received little training in God’s Word. To make things worse, countless Christians who live on the poverty line have no money to spare for discipleship resources.
Our target is to reach these Christians living in rural areas with Derek Prince’s Bible teaching. Thousands of spiritually hungry church leaders and believers need our help. We want to respond to these less privileged people, because we know our heavenly Father loves them.

Take, for example, a young pastor from rural Hubei Province. He needs Bible teaching to help his growing congregation. “We have a lot of believers here. We have Bibles and we want to follow God. What we desperately need is Bible teaching.
“I have been greatly blessed by the teachings of Derek Prince. Please send us more of his books to satisfy our spiritual hunger and to stop heresy from spreading.”

Or, take a Christian sister from a small town in Eastern China who says: “I don’t know what to do. I got married two years ago, but I still haven’t had a baby. My husband and my in-laws are getting anxious. I want to be a faithful Christian woman but I am struggling.
“I have no one to talk to about this in my church. Please send me some free Bible teaching to help me understand God’s plan for me and to strengthen my faith.”

Last year alone, we printed and distributed over 575,000 copies of much-needed Bible teaching by Derek Prince including Husbands and Fathers, Self-Study Bible Course, Objective for Living, Life’s Bitter Pool and Take Heed That You Are Not Deceived. These books were distributed free of charge to Christian leaders and believers who desperately seek sound Bible teaching rooted in God’s Word.
