Dear Friend,

This question came to my mind as I began to read some ministry reports from our DPM workers in Eastern Europe. So today, I want to show you how your gifts have brought hope. And I want to invite you to join forces with us once again for teaching the untaught in this region.

picHere are just a few examples of how we measure hope at DPM outreach to Eastern Europe:

HOPE is resourcing pastors in Albania to teach Christian men to embrace their God-given roles as priests and prophets in their homes. There is a huge need in Albania today for men to learn how to be godly fathers and husbands. There are few good role models and domestic abuse of women and children is on the increase.

But the seeds of hope are being planted all over this country through books like Husbands and Fathers by Derek Prince. Some Albanian pastors, inspired by this teaching, are planning to host a men’s conference in May 2011.

HOPE is nurturing the faith of thousands of Christians in Bulgaria through the downloaddistribution of free teaching letters and online resources. In 2010 four teaching letters, full of biblical insights by Derek Prince, were distributed to over 2,000 people. “Christians all over Bulgaria are reading something from Derek Prince and they want more,” said Iskra Nacheva, our DPM outreach worker in Sofia. “Every time we send out a teaching letter, I receive several calls from pastors asking for additional copies for people in their local communities.”

Another exciting development is the growing number of Christians signing up to receive weekly Word from the Word messages via DPM–Bulgaria’s website. Right now, a community of over 250 believers is developing in its faith because of these weekly teachings.
We praise the Lord for these ministry opportunities!
