Overall, I enjoyed reading the book. For me its main strengths were its clarity, comprehensiveness and easily understood content. There were some eye opening statements too such as "This is the Gospel of the Kingdom: 'There is a Kingdom coming and you can get into it or can be left out of it, but you can't stop it from coming'". I also felt it was an encouragement to me to keep going and pressing on upwards towards the light. The place of Israel and the Church of Jesus Christ in God's purposes was clearly explained too. I liked the way Derek explained the Holy Spirit as being the standard bearer in God's army. In summary, I expect to use this book again and again as a quick reference, a sort of compass in this present day, to gain a prophetic insight into the end times.
