Supporter Care Administrator

Hours:              36.25 hours per week

Contract:          Full-time (Job share considered)

Salary range:   £19k to £23k depending on experience     

 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Supporter Care Administrator who is comfortable communicating with our supporters by phone and email and can relate to them in a confident and engaging manner. 

With previous experience of providing excellent customer service, you will be pastorally motivated to respond to enquiries in a way that best serves, encourages and builds up our constituency through Derek Prince materials and resources. You have knowledge of the teachings of Derek Prince or are willing to learn.

Primarily, you will be communicating by telephone with established and prospective Derek Prince Ministries (DPM) supporters to minister to them through prayer using accepted biblical doctrine and Derek's teachings.  You will be the first line of communication for our telephone callers and will be expected to answer queries, provide information and process donations and product sales.

You will also provide cover and support as needed within the Supporter Services Department, including Gift Aid processing, DPM's Prison Outreach, Trade sales, stock taking, order fulfilment, printing of in-house mailings and responding to email enquiries.

This is an office-based role, in our UK office.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Be the first line of communication for email and telephone callers to the office
  • Deliver excellent customer service on every call – take ownership and resolve queries efficiently
  • Pray for people on the phone using scripture and references to Derek's teaching
  • Process donations and orders including taking payments and updating the database
  • Update and maintain supporter records accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Ensure compliance is met and standards are achieved on a daily basis
  • Adhere to GDPR policies and regulations
  • Administer our Prayer Support Network in conjunction with other DPM offices
  • Collate testimonies where applicable, for use in social media or mailings
  • Liaise with our volunteer, home-based intercessors, to cultivate relationships and develop a process
  • Participate in the office prayer time

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Customer focussed, with an understanding of customer problems and a real desire to help
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and empathize with others
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • High degree of IT literacy including MS Office, with the ability to learn new applications
  • High level of accuracy, discretion and confidentiality
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Able to work self-sufficiently and independently when required
  • Good English language and writing skills
  • Due to the nature and context of this post, there is a genuine occupational requirement that the successful candidate is a committed Christian, able to fully commit to the Christian beliefs of Derek Prince Ministries
  • Knowledge of the Bible and ability to pray concise, scripture-based prayers
